Terms of service

These terms govern your use of HBF, operated by Healthy Body Fat (HBF) (“HBF”). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.

1. Your account

• You must be 18 or older (or have a parent or guardian manage the account for you) and give accurate information.
• Your login is yours alone. Keep your password private and tell us right away if you think someone else has access.
• One account per person. Accounts are not transferable.

2. Memberships and billing

• Memberships are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically on the same day each month until you cancel.
• Prices are shown on the pricing page and are in U.S. dollars. We'll give you notice before a price change affects you.
• Cancellation: cancel any time from Settings → Billing. We ask for at least 7 days' notice before your renewal date so the next charge doesn't run. You keep full access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
• No refunds. Payments already made are non-refundable, including partial months, unused time and sessions or reviews you didn't use.
• Failed payments: if a charge fails we'll ask you to update your card. Access may be paused until the balance clears.
• Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Promo, referral and ambassador codes have no cash value and can be changed or withdrawn at any time.

3. What HBF is — and isn't

This is fitness and nutrition coaching, not medical care. Nothing on the platform is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and your coach is not your doctor. Talk to a physician before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you are pregnant, injured, or managing a health condition. If something hurts, stop. If it's an emergency, call 911.

You also agree to the liability waiver and assumption of risk, which you accept before training.

4. Text message reminders

HBF reminder texts are optional. If you add your mobile number in Settings, agree to texts and confirm the number with a code, we'll text you reminders about check-ins, workouts, coaching sessions and messages from your coach — up to 3 a day, between 8 AM and 9 PM your time. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them and HELP for help, or turn them off in Settings. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't share, resell, republish or record our programs, videos, education content or coaching feedback. It's for your personal use.
• Don't harass other members or staff, post anything illegal, or upload content you don't have the right to share.
• Don't try to break, scrape or work around the platform's security or access controls.

6. Content

Ours: programs, exercise videos, education articles, the HBF name, logo and everything else on the platform belong to Healthy Body Fat (HBF). Your membership is a personal, non-transferable license to use them while it's active.

Yours: your photos, videos, check-ins and messages stay yours. You give us permission to store and use them to coach you and run the platform. We will not use your photos, videos or results in marketing without your separate written permission.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the platform up and improving, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable. We may add, change or retire features. If we make a change that materially reduces what you pay for, you can cancel.

8. Suspension and termination

You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses staff or members, or charges back a legitimate payment. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund the unused portion of that month.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided “as is”. Results depend on your consistency, effort, genetics and starting point — we can't and don't guarantee a specific outcome. To the fullest extent the law allows, HBF's total liability for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Healthy Body Fat (HBF) has its principal place of business, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located there.
